Who is Eligible?
• has a physical or mental impairment which for such individual constitutes or results in a substantial impediment to employment; and
• requires vocational rehabilitation services to prepare for, secure, retain, regain, or advance in employment; and
• can benefit in terms of an employment outcome from vocational rehabilitation services
What does this mean?
any Louisiana resident with a diagnosed disability including mental and physical disabilities such as anxiety, depression, and more are encouraged to apply

If you are considered eligible they will work with you to fund and plan your educational and career path, with the possibility of covering tuition, housing, books, medical appliances such as wheelchairs, and more!

Vocational guidance and career counseling
Evaluation of rehabilitation potential
Restoration (physical/mental)
Vocational and other training services
Rehabilitation technology, including assistive technology services, assistive technology devices, and rehabilitation engineering
Occupational tools and equipment
Job Placement into suitable employment
Maintenance to cover additional costs incurred during the period of vocational rehabilitation
Personal Assistance services, such as personal care attendant, scribe, reader, and interpreter
